10 Most Dangerous Space Weapons Ever

6. The Orbital Bombardment System

Another space weapon that was developed during the time of Cold war was the Orbital Bombardment System by Soviet Union.

The purpose behind the formation of this weapon was to defeat the Americans and bring them to nuclear war without being damaged or attacked.

The Soviet Union planned to carry the take the nuclear warheads into the space using the R-360 missile and bombard these warheads on the Earth from all over the orbit.

Indeed, this was one of the deadliest weapons to destroy the enemy and more likely the whole planet Earth!

8. Manipulated Asteroids

According to the scientific community, the asteroids are the ultimate killers. Due to their massive speed, they hold the potential to kill a wide range of species. It has been reported that an asteroid was bombarded on the Russian city of Chelyabinsk in 2013 which injured almost 1200 people along with a massive shock wave.

The mission of manipulating the asteroids is being carries out by many countries and The Asteroid Redirect Mission is planned to be launched in the following year. Although they have the potential to cause massive damage, some experts claim that these are lousy weapons as they can be used only once in a hundred years.
